What’s Your Theological Worldview?

McClaren You scored as Emergent/Postmodern. You are Emergent/Postmodern in your theology. You feel alienated from older forms of church, you don’t think they connect to modern culture very well. No one knows the whole truth about God, and we have much to learn from each other, and so learning takes place in dialogue. Evangelism should take place in relationships rather than through crusades and altar-calls. People are interested in spirituality and want to ask questions, so the church should help them to do this.

Update on Laurel Members Abroad

For those of ya’ll that do not know these websites… here are a couple of websites that might interest you.

LST trip to Malaysia: You will also find this linked in the other blogs section of my blog. Today was a sad and happy day. Sad because I today I dropped Meredith, Loraine, Eric, and Brad at the Nashville Airport today. Happy, because of the same reason. It has been a long time coming. I am really excited for them and will continue praying for them.

Melanie Wen Guyette: Gary and Sherri Guyette have adopted a child. This has been a very long process, but they finally have it. Congratulations to the Guyette’s.

Brazil!!!! Woohoo! We leave two weeks from this Friday. I am starting to get really excited. Though it seems like each year I go back, its for less and less time, but the friends I make in that time mean more and more to me. Early last week I learned that our team had grown by two members. Originally it was going to be myself, Mike Buckley, Wilson Davis, and Jennifer Romine. In addition to us, our team now includes Joyce and Abbey Troxler. Stay tuned to this blog for more updates on the project as it approaches and hopefully while we are down there.
