Whose Your Daddy?

CuffDaddy Wins!
Today Jon and I were joined by David and Wilson on a second attempt to see Kacie at the Ruby Tuesday’s in Maryville. This time ended much more successfully. Afterwards, we were to meet up with Becca and Holly at the Turkey Creek shopping center. They went shopping while we waited for Ben G to show up. Once we were all together, we decided we would play some laser tag.

Its been AGES since Cuff Daddy here has played laser tag. I probably haven’t played since high school or freshman year of college. (Honestly, I can’t remember when the last time I played.) I’m really not feeling that old after playing though. Yep, Cuff Daddy got first place. (Thanks to Wilson mostly. :p ) In all fairness, it didn’t register any of Ben’s kills, but I don’t think that would have changed the outcome of first place. It was still fun regardless of the score. We ought to do this sometime in the fall.

You probably ought to be able to figure these out, but just in case you can’t:
BIGBENTLY: Ben G
PINK ROXY: Holly
WILSONATOR: Wilson
FLYIN SOLO: Jon
REBECOP: Becca
DRUM GUY: David

Today is not your lucky day if you have triskaidekaphobia, friggatriskaidekaphobia, or paraskevidekatriaphobia. Lucky me, I just have sesquipedalophobia.

The Theater Was All Ours

Sahara

Ok, so on my way home from church last night I get a call from Dave Keim. The house next door to the house behind them is coming up for rent. He passed the phone number of the landlord of that house onto me. I gave her a call, but its still looking like the house won’t be available in time for us. She said the rent was $800, but I talked her down to $700. Anyways, she’s supposed to call me back. If she doesn’t do so soon, we’ll be moving over near St. Mary’s it looks like.

While I was on the phone, I get a voice mail message from Jesse T. about him and Chad going to see the 10:00 showing of Sahara at Knoxville Center Mall. So I left the house and meet up with them. It turns out we had the entire theater to ourselves. It was great. Ok, so now about the movie… It wasn’t good, but it wasn’t bad either. I’d recommend it over Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy though. Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy was just a ‘feel good’ kind of movie… You feel good cause there are a lot more dorkier people in the theater than you. (At least that was true of the show we went too). We laughed more at the guys behind us then we did at the movie.

So long and thanks for all the fish.

MediaShout

MediaShout
Ok, so yesterday, instead of finishing up my paper, I began trying stuff out in MediaShout. I must say, I like this program a lot better than PowerPoint. Its capable of doing so much more than I think I’ll be allowed to do. I’m going to try and use it on May 15th. I know some people will say that it is too cinematic and that we must stop using a projector. I also know some people will see it and long for more. I’m really looking forward to the days when we’re in heaven and worship won’t require all this preperation.
